About Namaste Credit

Namaste Credit was founded in 2015 by a team of seasoned credit and technology entrepreneurs whose mission was to address the systemic problems incumbent on the lending ecosystem for SMEs, financial advisors, and lenders. Gaurav, Lucas, and Krishnan had been toying with various ideas for some time before settling on the most impactful model that they could contemplate given their amalgam of skill sets and experiences. Gaurav had extensive experience in credit assessment, Krishnan had a legacy of building technology products and Lucas had been deeply involved in tech sales, research, and analytics. The result was the founding of Namaste Credit to address the massive opportunity for tech-enablement in SME Lending. As a first step, we built and launched an Online SME Loan Marketplace that efficiently matches borrowers and institutional lenders. The success of our digital platform and industry-leading matching algorithm led to Namaste Credit becoming the largest online platform
